For my final project in the Interactive Technology and Pedagogy graduate certificate program, I created comics that critically examine the phenomenon of global pinkwashing, in which the global breast cancer awareness movement disproportionately harms women in the Global South. [Slides]
Additionally, I have a strong interest in clinical ethics consultation and extensive experience supporting cancer and endocrinology patients. In 2021, I co-spearheaded an online support platform for individuals with breast cancer and their families to navigate medical and ethical challenges; the platform now serves over 50,000 members.
